OverlayQA Plugin for Framer

Start a client review of your published Framer site without leaving the editor. Clients pin comments on the live page without an account, and every comment becomes a tracked issue in your OverlayQA project.

A review link from inside Framer

The OverlayQA plugin on the Framer Marketplace reads your published site from Framer. Open it on the page you want reviewed, pick production or staging when both exist, and press Continue in OverlayQA. A new tab opens where you choose a project, or create one, and set up the review link.

Send the link to your client. Clients open it without an account, pin comments to the exact spot on the page, draw around an area, attach files and reply. When they finish, they press Done reviewing. The review uses the last published version, so publish your editor changes first.

The plugin adds no code to your site. It does not change the Framer canvas, read the page content or install scripts; it passes the page you chose to OverlayQA, and clients review it on OverlayQA's hosted review page.

What happens to client comments

• Every comment becomes an issue: each client comment lands in your OverlayQA project with a screenshot of what the client selected.
• Tracked to done: set severity, assign a teammate, add labels and move each issue from Open to In Progress to Resolved.
• Sent to your tracker: send issues to Jira, Linear, Asana, Trello, ClickUp, GitHub or Notion.
