Branded Client Feedback Portal
A branded client feedback portal is the page a client opens to review a website and leave feedback, shown with your studio's logo and colors instead of the tool vendor's. In OverlayQA, your logo, accent color, and header background appear on client reviews, the review portal, and shared issue links, and you can hide the Powered by OverlayQA line.
How the branded client portal works
Open Settings in the OverlayQA dashboard and go to Branding. Upload a logo (PNG, SVG, JPEG, WebP, or GIF up to 10MB), set an accent color and a header background, and a live preview shows the client review header before you save. Every accent color is checked for contrast, and when one is too light OverlayQA suggests a readable alternative you can apply in one click.
Your branding appears on the three pages a client can be sent: client reviews, the review portal, and shared issue links. Turn on Hide Powered by OverlayQA and the OverlayQA line disappears from all three. Clients open your link and comment with no account, each comment pins to the exact spot they clicked, and every comment becomes a tracked issue you can export to Jira, Linear, Notion, Asana, or Trello.

- Every plan: Freelancer at $39 a month, Starter at $79, and Pro at $249, plus the 14-day free trial. A solo freelancer gets the same branding options as a 20-person team.
- What happens to my branding if my plan lapses?
- Review links you created while on a plan keep your branding. Links created without an active plan use the default OverlayQA look, and your branding settings stay saved for when you pick a plan.
- Do clients need an account to leave feedback?
- No. Clients open the link and comment on the page without signing up. Each comment pins to the exact spot they clicked and becomes a tracked issue in your project.
- Can I use my own domain for the portal?
- Not today. Branded pages are served from overlayqa.com with your logo and colors. Custom domains are not available on any plan yet.
- What logo files can I upload?
- PNG, SVG, JPEG, WebP, or GIF up to 10MB. The logo shows at up to 160 x 28 px, so choose artwork that reads clearly on your header color and on light pages.
- How does this compare with other client feedback tools?
- As of September 2026, several popular tools put branding on a higher plan: BugHerd from Premium at $150 a month, Feedbucket from Business at $89, and Usersnap from Premium at $449. Userback removes its own logo from Business Plus at $199. OverlayQA includes logo, colors, and badge removal from $39.
